A few weeks ago, ServiceNow released four free apps to help organizations manage their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They have been extremely valuable during this time of uncertainty and we’re recommending them to all of our clients. In case you missed them, here’s a quick summary of what they do:

ITS Instructional Videos

While these apps are incredibly helpful, they are also a little bit difficult to integrate. We’ve made a video tutorial to help you get each app installed and configured quickly and correctly. You can check out the video here.

Emergency Self Report

Along with its companion applications, this app allows an employee to report their health status to their manager and the response team. Managers can monitor the status of their teams and reassign the employee’s work to other team members. Employees can notify their manager when they are ready to return to work. The response team can view a roll-up of the reports, sort the data in multiple ways for analysis, and drill down into the details of any report.

Emergency Self Report

Emergency Outreach App

This app helps organizations connect with and assess the impact of an emergency event on their employees. Employers can share important information regarding the emergency and safety measures. Employers can request a status report from within the message. Communications can take place via email or mobile phone push notifications.

Emergency Exposure Management

This app helps organizations identify employees who may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus or other illnesses. A manager can analyze the affected employee’s location and Office 365 meetings to generate and export a list of potentially exposed employees. An employer can then contact all potentially exposed individuals and take appropriate precautions. Along with its companion applications, Emergency Exposure Management helps organizations mobilize their emergency response efforts during crises and streamline and automate activities on multiple fronts.

Emergency Response Operations App

This app helps state and local government agencies optimize their resources in critical locations during emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic or other events. It enables administrators in both the central command center and field offices to coordinate how to assign, schedule, and activate resources down to the employee, activity, and day.

In case you get a little confused during the install and use of the new apps, we’ve made a demo video for each one.  You can check out all our videos here.
