The 7 Deadly Sins of ServiceNow OT Implementations.

We don't want to scare you, but we thought sharing some of the mistakes we've seen people make during the process, including ourselves, would be fun.

That's why we've developed the 7 Deadly Sins of ServiceNow OT Implementations.

1. Lust. It can be tempting to import OT data quickly, but we've found that skipping data planning and governance can lead to chaos and problems down the road.

2. Sloth. It may seem easy to skip detailed planning and data governance but trust us, it can lead to issues with conflicting data and unmet expectations.

3. Greed. Trying to save time and money by not using specialized modules designed for OT can lead to many issues, like complexity and poor performance.

4. Wrath. You must involve the OT team from the beginning to avoid running into problems down the line and causing resentment.

5. Envy. It's easy to compare your progress to others and envy their success, but it can lead to doubt and discontent.

6. Pride is also a problem. Refusing expert guidance in favor of internal knowledge can lead to technical debt and other issues.

7. Finally, there's Gluttony. Overindulging in customization can cause problems and complications. Moderation is our ally, guiding us to partake wisely and avoid the pitfalls of excess.

By avoiding these seven sins, we can work together toward a future of operational excellence and digital harmony.

Remember, approach it with wisdom, humility, and a little humor.

We are here to support & guide you all along the way, so let's start today. →
